Numerical Forecast with the Mesosynoptic Specification of Extremely Severe Squalls in the European Part of Russia (Case Study for June 13 and July 29, 2010)

An analysis of the forecasts of severe squalls observed on June 13 and July 29, 2010 based on the WRF-ARW and COSMO-RU numerical models and actual mesosynoptic conditions demonstrated the significant use of the joint application of these tools along with the more detailed taking account of specific geographic conditions, especially in the evening and at night.
