Estimation of the Error of Lidar Determination of the Transparency of Low-Turbidity Atmosphere

Considered is the method of determination of atmospheric turbidity using weak lidar signals when the problem is mathematically incorrect due to the presence of the background noise. An accuracy of the method can be increased by means of using the procedure of effective averaging and linear ap¬proximation of the transmission in the case of the low attenuation coefficient.
