FORMATION OF THE AEROSOLS OVER YAMAL IN A POLLUTED ATMOSPHERE

M. P. Tentyukov

Theoretical solubility of metallic complexing agents in accordance with the pH medium is calculated in the system that contains OH— as a ligand. The interaction of the aerosol medium with technogenic emissions is shown to produce its chemical transformation: the decrease in concentrations of hydrated metallic ions and appearance of sulphate complexes; the equilibrium in the drop-particle system shifts towards higher solubility of hardly soluble metal compounds, since cloud drops become unsaturated relative to the compounds. The effectiveness of the process under consideration is estimated and it is assumed that the chemical reactions involved can be very important for the formation of the aerosol medium under atmospheric pollution.
