Verifications of Forecasts of Seasonal Anomalies of Meteorological Fields for SL-AV Model in the SMIP-2 Experiment

We consider verifications of 24-year series of historical seasonal forecasts computed at the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia on the basis of atmospheric general circulation model SL-AV using reanalysis data are considered. Numerical experiments were carried out in accordance with the protocol of the international project SMIP-2 aimed at model intercomparison and assessment of potential predictability of the atmosphere on seasonal time scales.
