STOCHASTIC MODEL OF THE ANNUAL CYCLE OF WATER SURFACE TEMPERATURE IN LAKES

Modeled curves describing the long-term daily temperatures of water surface in 47 European lakes of different type are obtained. The approximating function used in the model has six parameters. Quantitative estimates of the empirical parameters are analyzed depending on zonal geographic factors and lake morphometry. A method for calculating water surface temperature in the least-studied water bodies is proposed.
