Results of continuous synchronous measurements of ozone [O3], nitrogen oxide [NO] and dioxide [NO2], and carbon oxide [CO] concentrations in the town of Ulan-Ude conducted in the summer of 2000 are analyzed. High concentrations of ozone and nitrogen oxides in the surface atmosphere have been detected. An interpretation of the time variability of [O3] as a function of the [NO]/[NO2] ratio under significant meteorological conditions is proposed. It is shown that the behavior of daily mean ozone concentrations near the roads in the air-stagnation period is described by a near-periodic function. A close relation is found between daily mean concentrations [O3] and [NO] and air temperature. A regression of ozone concentration variability is derived.
