SPECTRAL ANALYSIS OF DIURNAL FLUCTUATIONS OF EQUATORIAL ATMOSPHERIC ANGULAR MOMENTUM COMPONENTS

Spectral analysis of equatorial angular momentum components is carried out. The analysis uses series of 6-hour components from 1958 to 2000 calculated at the Sub-Bureau for Atmospheric Angular Momentum of the International Earth Rotation Service from the NCEP/NCAR reanalysis data. Diurnal tidal modes are determined. New data on half-month and week fluctuations of equatorial atmo¬spheric angular momentum components are obtained.
