The results of operation of the Total Ozone (TO) Monitoring System in the CIS and Baltic countries functioning at the Central Aerological Observatory (CAO) in real time are dealt with. In the first place, the monitoring system uses the data from a domestic network of filter ozonometers M-124 operating under a methodological control of the Main Geophysical Observatory (MGO). The quality control of the entire system is performed in real time through the comparison of, e.g., domestic network data with the observation data from the TOMS equipment aboard the Earth Probe satellite (NASA, USA). The basic results of observations of the Antarctic ozone anomaly of 2000 (in Russia such observations are mainly carried out at the Arctic and Antarctic Research Institute) and systematic surface ozone observations are described which have been carried out by the CAO in a recreation zone of Moscow since 1991.
