A SPATIAL STRUCTURE OF THE NORWEGIAN AND GREENLAND WATER MASSES IN WINTER

The spatial structure of the Norwegian and Greenland water masses and the North Polar front for wintertime is described on the basis of a modified procedure of the T–S indices, using a complete historical hydrological and hydrochemical data file. A volumetric concentration of principal water masses (Atlantic, polar, and Scandinavian coastal water masses) was calculated.
