THE USE OF A GEOINFORMATION SYSTEM FOR PREDICTION OF AGROCLIMATIC CHARACTERISTICS

A special geoinformation system has been developed which combines empirical data on modern climate, climate forecasts from theoretical models and paleoanalogs, and models connecting natural processes with climate. The paper discusses the use of this system for computations of agroclimatic indices of heat availability under anthropogenic climate change.
