SEASONAL AND INTERANNUAL VARIABILITY OF THE PARAMETERS OF COLD INTERMEDIATE LAYER IN THE BLACK SEA

The paper presents an annual cycle and the main phases of variability of cold intermediate layer characteristics in different structural zones of the Black Sea, i.e., from a central zone of divergence to a coastal area of convergence. The long-term variability of the cold layer parameters is analyzed as a function of the severity of winter atmospheric temperature conditions.
