A PROCEDURE OF APPLYING A MULTILEVEL ATMOSPHERIC BOUNDARY LAYER MODEL TO THE SOLUTION OF WIND POWER PROBLEMS

E. D. Nadezhina and O. B. Shklyarevich

A multilevel quasistationary boundary layer model is used to estimate spatial wind flow distributions and deformations of wind characteristics due to the effect of windfarms. The calculated distributions are exemplified for the Yamalo-Nenets National District in view of characteristic features of surface relief, season, and wind direction.
