THERMODYNAMIC RELATIONS FOR A FOG CHAMBER

N. P. Romanov and G. P. Zhukov

Heat exchange between steel walls of a cylinder chamber designed to create artificial fogs and the air inside was investigated under conditions of pressure growth and drop inside the chamber and under temperature equalization at constant pressure. It is shown that processes modeling the formation of convective clouds, different stages of evolution of radiation fogs, stationary conditions for fogs and stratus clouds without the effect of heat transfer from the walls, and other meteorological phenomena can be simulated in the chamber.
