NUMERICAL SCHEME OF THREE-DIMENSIONAL ADAPTATION OF LARGE-SCALE FLOW (CIRCULATION) TO LOCAL OROGRAPHY

An algorithm and a numerical scheme of three dimensional wind adaptation to local orography are considered. The scheme is based on a linear approximation of orography within a mesh of a computational grid and uses the efficient iterative method of solving the system of linear equations developed by the author. The results of numerical experiments are presented which show the effects of three-dimensional flow over complex orography.
