ASSESSMENT OF THE STATE AND RISK OF DESERTIFICATION-PRONE LANDS
Ts. E. Mirtskhulava
Considered are the results of studies aimed at the development of a quantitative method for assessing the state and occurrence of danger on desertification-prone lands. The Markovian chain theory and stochastic kinetic differential equations of Yto and Fokker—Planck—Kolmogorov are applied. Numerical examples are given to demonstrate the use of the equations derived.
