MICROSTRUCTURE OF SMOG AND ITS SCAVENGING BY PRECIPITATION IN THE MOSCOW REGION IN SEPTEMBER 2002

Results of measuring the aerosol concentration and particle size spectrum in the Moscow region in the fall of 2002 during forest and peat bog fires and a subsequent cleaning of the atmosphere by rains are discussed. Data are obtained on scavenging of different-size aerosol particles by precipitation.
