MODELING OF VARIABILITY OF LEAF AREA INDEX VARIABILITY FOR SUGAR BEET AND FODDER GRASSES

Empirical models of dynamics of the leaf area index of sugar beet and fodder grasses are considered, with application of standard meteorological information. A procedure is proposed for approximate estimation of the sugar-beet yield and grass biomass based on data on the change in the leaf area index of these cultures during their vegetation.
