THE INCOME OF BIOGENIC ELEMENTS AND ORGANIC MATTER TO LAKE BAIKAL WITH RIVER WATERS AND ATMOSPHERIC PRECIPITATION

Long-term changes in the income of biogenic elements and organic matter to Lake Baikal with river waters and atmospheric precipitation are dealt with. Intensified human economic activity over the drainage area of the basin increases the transport of substances into the lake. Most of biogenic elements and organic matter arrives into the lake with river waters, the maximum being in the periods of extremely high water content.
