SCALES AND ENERGY OF WIND MESOSTRUCTURES IN THE LOW-LATITUDE ATMOSPHERE

Results of investigation of a wind field structure near the Seychelles are presented. Investigations were made by a standard equipment of the flying laboratory M-55 Geofizika in 1999. Local wind structures of the scales of tens of kilometers and the energy above 40 m2/s2 per unit mass were found in the tropopause and the stratosphere.
